Montezuma is the bohemian village on the Gulf of Nicoya side of the peninsula's tip, famous for its three-tier waterfall, tide-pool beaches, howler monkeys in the village trees and a laid-back mix of backpackers, artists and families. Cabo Blanco reserve and Isla Tortuga snorkelling trips are the excursions.
