About Ocotal
Playa Ocotal is a small, sheltered dark-sand cove five minutes south of Playas del Coco, with clear water for snorkelling straight off the beach, a cluster of hillside villas and condos and views to the Papagayo headlands. It is quiet and residential; Coco supplies the restaurants and services.
The ride from Manuel Antonio
From Liberia Airport allow 35 minutes via Route 1, the Sardinal turn-off and Playas del Coco, then the short climb over the ridge to Ocotal, all paved. Villas here are up steep streets; give the driver the property name.
