About Las Catalinas
Las Catalinas is a car-free, Mediterranean-style beach town built into the hills above Playa Danta, with cobbled lanes, plazas, a handful of restaurants and 40 km of hiking and mountain-biking trails in the tropical dry forest behind it. The ride from Playa Hermosa
From Liberia Airport allow 1 hour 15 minutes via Belén, Huacas, Flamingo and Potrero, paved the entire way. Your driver drops you at the town entrance, where the Las Catalinas team meets you with luggage carts or a golf cart to your home or hotel. Flamingo is 15 minutes away, Tamarindo about 40.
